Biography

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for 20+ years. Supporting clients in cultivating healthier thought patterns and behaviors through cognitive behavioral techniques is one of the treatment modalities I employ. I strive to compassionately assist clients in examining the obstacles that hinder their ability to experience joy. Behavioral health challenges can be difficult to overcome or accept without evidence-based interventions. Perhaps, you’ve experienced depression, grief, trauma, adult ADHD, panic disorders or anger that’s affecting your life.

I can work collaboratively with you to develop coping strategies that promote psychological well-being. My goal is to provide a trusting, therapeutic environment. I will function as your therapeutic collaborator, helper and guide. The modalities I use include psychosocial education, person centered and supportive therapy. Ultimately, your therapeutic journey and its pace is driven by you. I invite you to explore letting me help you.

Let’s be real—life can be a lot. Between the pressures of everyday responsibilities, relationships, and just trying to keep it all together, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or not quite like yourself. If that’s where you are right now, I see you—and I’m here to help.

I’m Kiesha. I’m a mom, someone who values spirituality, and a therapist who’s passionate about walking alongside people through the tough stuff. I work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and women’s issues—and I also have a heart for working with kids and families from all kinds of backgrounds. Every child and adult deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported.

I have a special passion for serving African Americans and people of color, because I know how powerful it is to have someone in your corner who understands your experiences. My values and sense of purpose shape how I show up—with compassion, authenticity, and a commitment to creating a safe, welcoming space where you can be fully yourself.
